1. About these terms

These terms apply to InkDone (the “App”), a to-do list for Android and its web version at inkdone.app, developed and published by Tendanto Ltd, a private limited company registered in England & Wales (company no. 17481182), 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the App you accept these terms.

Google Play’s own terms also apply to downloading the App and to purchases made through Google Play. How the App handles your data is described in the InkDone Privacy Policy.

2. Your licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own use.

You must not copy, modify, resell or redistribute the App, try to extract its source code except where the law allows, remove its notices, interfere with our servers, or use the App in a way that breaks the law or harms others.

3. The free version

The App is free to use on your phone, with every core feature and no time limit. The free version shows one small ad for another of our own apps.

4. InkDone Plus

InkDone Plus adds sync between your phones, the web app at inkdone.app, shared lists, extra papers, inks and handwritings, the task timer, longer reports and removes the ad. It is sold through Google Play as a monthly or yearly subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the App and on Google Play in your local currency, including any taxes Google Play charges.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price, unless you cancel in Google Play (Play Store › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions) before the renewal date. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for.

Introductory offers. Some plans may come with a free trial or an introductory price, as shown before you buy. Google Play decides who is eligible. When a free trial ends you are charged for the plan, unless you cancel before then.

Lifetime purchase. The one-time purchase unlocks Plus, without renewals, on the Google account you bought it with, for as long as we offer the App on Google Play.

If we change a subscription price, Google Play tells you in advance, and you can cancel before the new price applies.

5. Refunds and your rights

Payments and refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy (support.google.com/googleplay). You can request a refund through Google Play; we can also ask Google to refund a purchase where that is fair.

If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU, you have legal rights for digital content that is faulty or not as described, and nothing in these terms affects them. When you buy, you agree that Plus starts straight away; as far as the law allows, this means the 14-day right to cancel ends once it has started.

6. Your data and sync

Your lists live on your device. With Plus they are also kept, end-to-end encrypted, on our server so your devices can sync; Delete account in Settings erases that copy. You can export every task at any time, with or without Plus.

Sync and the web app depend on our servers and your connection, and may occasionally be unavailable. Keep your own backups, for example with the App’s export or Google Drive backup: if you lose your device or your encryption key without one, we may not be able to recover your tasks.

7. Shared lists

When you share a list, everyone you invite can see and change its tasks. Share only with people you trust, and only content you have the right to share. You are responsible for what you put in the App and in lists you share.

8. Changes to the App and these terms

We may update the App, add or remove features, or stop offering it. If we stop offering Plus features you have paid for, we will tell you in advance where we can, and you can ask for a refund of the unused part of a subscription.

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the App afterwards means you accept the updated version.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Otherwise, the App is a tool to help you organise your tasks, and we are not liable for missed reminders or deadlines, for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for business losses. Our total liability to you in connection with the App is limited to the amount you paid for InkDone Plus in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Ending

You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it, deleting your account in Settings and cancelling any subscription in Google Play. We may end your licence or your access to sync if you seriously break these terms.

11. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland, Northern Ireland or the EU, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts, and you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country.
